Steven James Counselling are pleased to present (Veronica) Ronnie Freeman BSc MSc CPsychol, Chartered Counselling Psychologist as the tutor for this programme.
Ronnie is an integrative therapist working with traditional models of psychotherapy and CBT when change in a shorter period of time is required. Together with her private therapy and supervision practice, she has a long-standing contract with the Probation Service and travels around the UK delivering CBT based training to health and educational professionals. She taught on the Masters and Degree programmes at Southampton University for 15 years and developed the first CBT course that ran there. As a Chartered Counselling Psychologist and practising therapist herself she is committed to training focused on practical use in the workplace.
Ronnie has been delivering effective CBT training programmes for 5 years. Those who have attended report that the CBT techniques they have acquired during the courses have added tremendous value to their counselling, especially those unused to working short-term with their clients. These counsellors say they are glad to have these skills as part of their counselling portfolio now that CBT is so prized in the therapy field.
